Electromobility: let´s create the future!
We support the Rennschmiede Pforzheim e.V. with our standard and operating parts for the development of the electric racing car “Sapphire”. What an exciting project! With the help of norelem shoulder screws, hexagon nuts and rod ends with plain bearings, we can thus make a contribution to advancing electromobility.
The norelem shoulder screws are used to connect the chassis to the frame with a precise fit and without play. This enables precise assembly and clean power transmission into the chassis, thus minimising tolerances. The shoulder screws are mounted in the fitting holes and secured with a hexagon nut with polyamide thread lock.
In the electric race car, our shoulder screws, rod ends and hexagon nuts were also installed in the bell crank. The shoulder screws are used for precise positioning on the bell crank, the rod ends for track adjustment and as connectors between the stabiliser and the bell crank.
This compensates for uneven ground on the race track and enables resistance to vehicle roll.
